In many Hindu traditions, Rama is considered the supreme being. This must be true, since he married Sita, goddess of women and daughter of Mother Earth herself! The story of Rama is considered by many to be the story of life itself, a man who embodies both the human and the divine, both acting from your heart and from your head, and the marriage of ethics with aesthetics. A stay in Rama’s room (and any room in the Damayanti) honors this sacred marriage with a focus on ecological sustainability without sacrificing beauty. We hope Rama’s spirit of balancing heart and head helps you move across the dance floor of life with a little more compassion and beauty along the way.
You’ll rest each night on a Queen bed underneath a gorgeous wood ceiling and walls. A writing desk sits by doors that open out to a poolside deck where you are steps away from a morning swim.
Beauty won’t be left out of bathtime either with a stone carving in the shower wall, and an antique wardrobe will house all your clothes.
Finally, traditional Balinese and Javanese art and textiles, each with a story behind it, give the room an extra touch of beauty and luxury, all of which have been ethically sourced and maintained (Rama would approve!).

Communal Kitchen
A delicious vegetarian breakfast is included in your stay, with gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options, and you have access to use the communal kitchen yourself if you wish.

Swim and Lounge
Enjoy a dip in our pool, which is located in the middle of the hotel property, steps away from most rooms. Towels are provided both in your room and poolside, and chairs surround the pool for lounging and chatting. Order a fresh coconut from the kitchen to sip poolside!
YOGA SHALA
Yoga Classes
Yoga classes are offered in our fully equipped yoga shala at no additional charge for hotel guests. We also give back to the local community by offering free yoga classes to our staff and their families.

Hotel Support Staff
With just seven rooms on our property, we’re able to give each guest our loving attention. The front desk is open from 8am to 10pm, and there's an after hours number to call in case of an emergency.
LOCATION
Ubud, Bali
Only a 15-minute walk from Ubud, the hotel is conveniently situated, but far enough out of town to offer you some peace and quiet. Many guests walk into town, and we can organize drivers for you at the front desk.
