Seven Rooms. Seven Stories.

Each room is inspired by a character from the Mahabharata and Ramayana (two Sanskrit epics!) and decorated with antique Balinese and Javanese furniture, art, architectural pieces, and traditional textiles and prints. Many of our rooms are in antique Javanese joglo or gladak houses constructed of teak wood, and a stay at the Damayanti combines a reverence for history and the sacred land we live on with thoughtful, luxurious touches that modernize a traditional experience.
